The San Antonio Police Department released the body cam footage of an officer-involved shooting that occurred last month. Angel Gabriel Cuevas , 21, was fatally shot by two officers May 19 after police say he attempted to run them over. The officers were responding to a narcotics call around 7 p.m. in the 17800 block of La Cantera Terrace. Upon arrival, a license plate reader alerted the officers to a nearby stolen vehicle.

As he tries to flee, the driver runs over the curb in the direction of the officers and a civilian bystander. Both officers open fire on the vehicle and it ultimately came to a stop. Cuevas was shot once in the head by the officers. He was later taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
