The homeowner saw the camera alert and went out with his gun and shot one suspect in the buttocks the other in the leg.
SAN ANTONIO — A homeowner shot two men who were attempting to steal some roofing supplies from in front of his garage after a camera alerted him of their presence, police say.responded to the 400 block of Genral Krueger Boulevard, not far from Basse Road and Blanco Road, just north of downtown around 5:13 a.m. Thursday for reports of a double shooting.
Police say that the 35-year-old homeowner told them he saw the camera alert that the men were outside of his home trying to steal something and called for help. The men took off, but apparently returned to try to finish the job.
