Sandy Hook families who successfully sued Alex Jones for defamation in Connecticut have teamed up with the satirical news outlet The Onion to buy the bankrupted conspiracy and merchandizing broadcast site Infowars , a federal trustee said Thursday.
Along with the parent company of The Onion, the trustees lists a former FBI agent and Sandy Hook family members as the new owners of Infowars: y Mark Barden, Jacqueline Barden, Francine Wheeler, David Wheeler, Ian Hockley, Nicole Hockley, Jennifer Hensel, William Aldenberg, William Sherlach, Carlos M. Soto, Donna Soto, Jillian Soto-Marino, Carlee Soto Parisi, Robert Parker and Erica Ash.
