San Jose Sharks assigned goalie Yaroslav Askarov, now healthy, to the Barracuda of the AHL

The against the Hurricanes won 5-2. SAN JOSE — The San Jose Sharks assigned goalie Yaroslav Askarov, who is now healthy, to the Barracuda of the AHL on Friday.
Askarov missed all of the Sharks’ training camp due to a lower-body injury he incurred in early September. Askarov is expected to practice with the Barracuda later Friday morning, although he is not expected to play Friday night when the Barracuda play a preseason game in Bakersfield.
