SAN JOSE — A Campbell woman has died from injuries she suffered in a car crash in a residential neighborhood in South San Jose earlier this month, authorities said.After winning in court, Alameda County DA throws out vehicular manslaughter case; defendant’s man bun may have saved himThe single-vehicle crash was reported around 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 1 in the 1400 block of St. Francis Drive.
She was taken to a hospital for what were initially described as minor injuries, and she was expected to survive, but she died on Oct. 5, police said. The driver has been identified by the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office as Letitia Leighhazelma Coriakula, 43, of Campbell. Her official cause of death is still pending.
