San Jose audiences can travel ‘Across the Spider-Verse’ in concert

Film screenings on Oct. 9-10 to be accompanied by live performance of soundtrack.

If your spidey sense is tingling, it might be because the next chapter of the Spider-Verse saga is coming to San Jose soon.

Emmy-winning composer Daniel Pemberton’s score was influenced by the ambient and techno music of the London rave scene in the ’90s. He also drew inspiration from the scratch DJs at the Blue Note Club in East London. He coupled these with heavy-drumming and punk guitars to create the film’s soundtrack, which features Future, Nas, Swae Lee, James Blake, Lil Wayne and Lil Uzi Vert, among other artists.

“Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” follows Miles Morales , Brooklyn’s friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, across the Multiverse, where he encounters the Spider Society, a team of Spider-People charged with protecting the Multiverse’s existence.
