Researchers predict church attendance will continue to decline as the younger population has weaker attachments to religion.
CHULA VISTA, Calif. — Dozens of families made their way to honor Jesus and learn about the meaning behind Easter Sunday during a special mass atIt's the most popular day of the year for churches and most commonly honored in Asian countries, Mexico and parts of South America.
“Because it's very important for them to know about their religion, their faith and to know why we celebrate Easter,” Luna said. Diego Reyes believes one way to connect the youth closer to their faith would be to have more programs available at churches.In an effort to keep faith alive and prevent it from getting lost Bishop Pham said it's important to create a welcoming space for everyone.
