by SBG San Antonio Staff ReportsOfficials were able to nab over $11,000 worth of meth from a local hotel on the far South side on Tuesday which led to two arrested.

According to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, deputies were investigating the South Loop of 1604 and IH-37 South when they were then led to a Best Western Hotel on the far South side.Deputies were able to find suspect Luis Aguirre, 22, who had multiple outstanding warrants and was detained without incident. Amanda Eichelberger, 21, was with Aguirre at the time of the arrest and was also detained by police.

Aguirre was arrested for an onsite charge of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver over 400 grams. He was booked for his additional outstanding warrants including carrying a handgun, failure to I.D., gambling - organized crime, possession of a controlled substance less than one gram, and driving while intoxicated.
