People in San Antonio who have loved ones in Israel are relying on consistent communication to make sure they are safe.
"Somebody that I really love and care for is going through that and it just it really concerns me especially just watching on the news and seeing all the videos, the horrifying videos," said Tatiana Pena-Martinez, who previously lived in Israel.
“It's been really terrifying few hours, like the past day and half has been like spent in terror and there's just constant fear that what if they get to Tel Aviv What if it escalates more,” said Sam. “We have a group chat and I just message them and ask them if they're doing okay. I'm just checking in on them,” said Pena-Martinez.
