Passengers from Las Vegas say they dealt with multiple delays, and a group arriving from Denver said it was a smooth trip.

“When we landed just 10 minutes late. We were actually really happy. Like, that’s the least of our worries,” said passenger Dirk Dallas.

Some passengers prepared for their luggage to arrive late. Others say family members are stranded at connecting airports, and some passengers had to make unexpected road trips. “They told us the flight was canceled. We were left with no recourse other than to try the next day, and we decided to drive up, so we drove up. We drove up 17 hours,” said passenger Dinorah Diaz., 58%, or 2,348, of the cancellations on Thursday are Southwest flights.

Passengers with flights scheduled before Monday, Jan. 2, can make flight changes at no additional cost on the Southwest website. No calling or standing in line are required.about getting missing bags delivered at no cost and submitting requests for a full refund.
