Professional surfer, lifeguard, and actor Tamayo Perry, 49, was tragically killed by a shark while surfing near the north shore of Oahu, Hawaii. Perry, renowned for his big-wave surfing, also gained fame for his roles in 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides' and 'Hawaii Five-0'.
Michelle Mann OZARK — Mayor Mark Blankenship and state Rep. Steve Clouse said a new Safe Haven Baby Box dedicated Monday was “a large step in the right direction.”
People are also reading… Seventeen states have a Baby Box presence in their states, said Safe Haven Baby Box Assistant Project Director Mariah Betz, who was in Ozark to unlock the safe haven box installed outside the fire station. Last October, the Ozark City Council approved a plan to bring one to the city. “The baby box allows a no-strings-attached and safe method for mothers to give up their newborn without consequences,” said Blankenship, adding that the project was funded by the generosity of Clouse and Wiregrass RC&D.
