Not sure if he’ll be their shortstop. The position has been unsettled in L.A. But Rosario will help the Dodgers, and the trade basically cost L.A. nothing in terms of impact on this season.
7. The Guardians want to see if Arias can be the starter. They know Freeman can be productive playing several positions and also hitting. The 24-year-old 9. This season has been a nightmare for the 30-year-old right-hander. He had persistent blister problems and then broke a nail on his right index finger. He had a 7.16 ERA with a 1-4 record when he went on the injured list with the Dodgers in early June.
