Summary Ryan Reynolds shares whether or not he sees Wade Wilson returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe after Deadpool & Wolverine. In a post-mortem Deadpool & Wolverine interview with Collider, Reynolds shared what may be next for the Merc with a Mouth after the incredibly successful Phase 5 installment. While he is not officially retiring as Deadpool, Reynolds is looking at it from a realistic perspective about whether or not he will be back as the iconic Marvel hero, sharing the following:
I would say that Shawn and I have been pretty clear, I think, in the most loving way, because talk about the greatest uptown problem any human beings could have is a studio like that saying, ‘What’s next?’ Or ‘How can we make something else?’ But this movie was made as a complete experience . It wasn’t meant to be a commercial for another movie. It wasn’t meant to be any of that stuff. And, I think I get a great deal of joy making a movie like that.
