Hannah Gutierrez-Reed says prosecutors 'withheld bombshell exculpatory evidence' about Alec Baldwin's replica revolver before her trial

Armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed sits in court with her attorney Jason Bowles during the first day of her trial at First District Court, in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on February 22, 2024. Gutierrez-Reed has denied involuntary manslaughter charges in the death of Halyna Hutchins, who died from her injuries after being hit by a live round fired from a gun held by US actor Alec Baldwin during a rehearsal on the set of the movie"Rust".

The existence of the report and the fact that it wasn’t shared with Gutierrez-Reed’s defense team was the subject of extensive testimony by the gun expert at an evidentiary hearing in Baldwin’s separate involuntary manslaughter prosecution on Monday. The expert, Lucien Haag, testified that he wrote the report in question last August as a supplement to two initial reports.
