🔴 At least six people died and several others have been injured in a Russian missile strike on the home town of the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky

in the central Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih, in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Elsewhere in the country, officials say buildings were hit in a drone attack in Kharkiv and that Kyiv’s air defences successfully repelled air attacks.The strikes come asagainst Russian forces escalates – with the Ukrainians saying their troops have reclaimed seven villages. Olha Chernousova, who lives in the apartment block, told Reuters the explosion threw her from her bed in a violent blast.
