Real Salt Lake falls behind as FC Dallas takes the game 3-1.
SANDY — RSL needed more Wednesday night at home in a 3-1 loss to FC Dallas.
The first half closed with the home team up 1-0 on FC Dallas, and RSL appeared to be in the driver's seat to earning a vital 3 points in its pursuit of a coveted playoff spot with only five games left in the season. There seemed to be a moment of hope for RSL as Jefferson Savarino appeared to have a through ball late in the game, but Anderson Julio was caught offside and negated the goal.
