Sir Rod Stewart and his family snapped photos at the match, picking up Celtic merch for their new grandchild
It's no secret that Sir Rod Stewart is Hoops-daft and with Celtic playing in Parkhead on February 1, he of course didn't want to miss the opportunity.
The family man took three of his children along to the match sitting beside his sons, Alastair and Liam, as well as daughter Renee. Liam's pregnant girlfriend, Nicole Artukovich, also joined them for the football game. Taking to social media to share the family outing that saw Hoops beat Livingston 3-0, Alastair shared photos as they all sat together in the green stand.
Later, Artukovich took to her Instagram story sharing a picture of baby clothes, Celtic socks and a green teddy with her and Liam's baby spoiled with merch before even being born. The caption read: "Baby has no choice" as she tagged Celtic's Instagram account with the family having boarded a private jet after the successful game, according to the Daily Record.
It comes as the 78-year-old singer was called "classy" and a "ledge" by broadcaster Piers Morgan. The journalist shared a snap of Sir Rod in a Celtic tracksuit holding up a newspaper directing people towards a column that he wrote in The Sun as a way of saying thanks. The broadcaster, 57, described the singer as an "incredibly big-hearted and generous guy, who cares passionately about his country" in his latest piece.
