RedfernsCLEVELAND, OHIO - The Spinners, one of the rock era’s classic R&B vocal groups, got its start in Detroit with Motown but didn’t hit its stride until hooking up with Philadephia-based producer and songwriter Thom Bell and being immersed in the lush and lovely Philly soul sound. That would lead them to chart success, singing their way into the hearts and lives of many a R&B and pop listener.
