The project will trace Williams’s more than 30-year pop music career
The documentary series, which was announced at the Edinburgh TV Festival, promises to provide an intimate glimpse at the bombastic entertainer, with director Joe Pearlman tracking Williams’ days as a boy band member with the British groupto his rise to solo super stardom and his struggles with addiction. The episodes use archival footage and new interviews with Williams to paint a portrait of his storied, almost 30-year career.
