Trump, the daughter-in-law of former President Donald Trump, has co-chaired the RNC since March. She is the wife of Trump’s son, Eric, and is a former contributor with Fox News. The Alabama GOP, in its announcement about Lara Trump’s speech on Friday, described her as “instrumental in leading the party’s strategic initiatives and rejuvenating the RNC with fresh energy.”
“We are thrilled to have Lara Trump join us as our keynote speaker,” said John Wahl, chairman of the Alabama Republican Party. “Lara has been doing an amazing job as RNC co-chair, energizing Republican base and championing conservative values across the nation. Her dedication to the principles of freedom, limited government, and family values resonates with the people of Alabama.
