Rory Kinnear explains the importance and significance of playing Tom Bombadil in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2.
, one of J.R.R. Tolkien’s most beloved characters. In the book, Bombadil is a colorful woodland-dwelling man who helps save the hobbits from a dangerous situation. Bombadil was absent in Peter Jackson’s“Well, I guess with the other adaptations, I think Peter Jackson said it, it doesn’t necessarily drive the story on, particularly in the narrative of it,” Kinnear told.
The official Season 2 synopsis reads: “Sauron has returned.
