Björk - Debut Icelandic experimental artist Björk changed the music industry forever with her 1993 debut album, aptly titled Debut. Before this, she had been part of the ‘80s band The Sugarcubes, but it was this solo album that really allowed her to make her mark. The album explores a variety of genres, including psychedelic rock, alternative dance, shoe-gaze, art pop, and electronic house.
