‘Retail theft on a massive scale’: father-daughter duo sentenced in multi-million dollar shoplifting scheme
A father-daughter duo from Atlanta has been sentenced to more than five years in prison for deploying an army of professional shoplifters to steal millions of dollars of merchandise from retailers such as CVS and Target and then selling the goods online.

And on Sears Marketplace, they made 1,800 sales for around $50,000.When investigators shut the Whitleys’ business down in late 2019, they found more than $1 million worth of stolen merchandise in their warehouse.
