Resouro, a company focused on developing the Tiros Titanium and Rare Earths Project in Brazil, has appointed Progesys as the Project Engineering Manager and Sete to conduct the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). These appointments mark significant milestones in the project's development, bringing expertise in engineering, environmental management, and project development to advance the Tiros Project towards permitting, construction, and mining.

Progesys has been appointed as the Project Engineering Manager and Sete for the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) at the Tiros Titanium and Rare Earths Project.

Progesys, a Canadian-founded multidisciplinary project engineering management organization with offices across North America, Latin America, Southeast Asia, the UAE, and Oman, will provide its expertise in engineering, quality assurance, environmental management, project management, construction management, commissioning, risk management, and operations readiness. Ms. Jordana Ferreira, Director of Industrial Projects for Progesys in Latin America, will lead the Company’s project development activities. Ms. Ferreira, with degrees in Civil Engineering and Mining Engineering, and post-graduate qualifications in business management and engineering production, brings extensive experience from her previous role as engineering and process manager at Serra Verde, Brazil’s only operating rare earths project. She will be based at Resouro’s Belo Horizonte Project office, supported by the Progesys Belo Horizonte office. This appointment marks a significant step forward for Resouro, aligning with the progress made on the Company’s ongoing initiatives. It allows for a focused yet cost-effective project development schedule while leveraging the flexibility of Progesys’ professional personnel and services.Building on Resouro’s existing water studies at the Tiros Central Block, Sete, one of the largest environmental consulting companies in Brazil, has been appointed to complete the EIA. Sete’s multidisciplinary technical team will undertake studies that complement the approvals process for a mining licence for the Tiros Project and Resouro’s current community engagement programs. The involvement of Progesys and Sete signifies a major milestone for Resouro. The partnership provides the foundation for the State of Minas Gerais and Invest Minas to assist with the advancement of the Tiros Project. This collaboration will allow Resouro to progress the Project’s development towards permitting, construction, and mining. The appointment of Progesys for project development activities supports the Company’s commitment to its development, in line with the SEDE and Invest Minas Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Resouro has several activities currently underway that will lead to near-term announcements on work programs. The outcomes of these works are anticipated to generate significant news flow in the first and second quarter of 2025. Assays from the 2024 drill program are currently being analyzed at the SGS Geosol laboratory in Belo Horizonte, with results expected soon. These results will form the basis for an updated JORC Resource Estimate. Resouro is making substantial progress with metallurgical test-works in Brazil and Australia to separate and recover titanium dioxide, rare earth elements, and other by-products. Initial findings from this work are expected in the first quarter of 2025. Concurrently, the Company is advancing planning for a demonstration plant facility at the Tiros Northern Block, building upon the current metallurgical test work and development of an optimized metallurgical flowsheet
