According to Fritzi Schreffler with PennDOT, Exit 14: PA 316- Wayne Avenue was closed and traffic was being detoured back on at Exit 10: PA 914 Marion.FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. — Traffic was heavily backed up in Franklin County along Interstate 81 southbound after a reported RV fire.
According to Fritzi Schreffler with PennDOT, Exit 14: PA 316- Wayne Avenue was closed and traffic was being detoured back on at Exit 10: PA 914 Marion. All lanes were reportedly closed, but have since reopened. According to 511PA, residual delays are to be expected. The fire began when an RV's brakes caught on fire, causing a reported mile's worth of brush fires, according to Schreffler. There are no reported injuries.
