A multi-state coalition led by Arizona is reportedly investigating Apple for violating deceptive trade practice laws by intentionally slowing down older iPhones with aging batteries, according to a report

Apple has not yet responded to a request for comment.Reuters’ report on the multi-state probe came as CEO Tim Cook came under scrutiny from Congressional lawmakers Wednesday, as the tech leader took part in an antitrust hearing with other top tech CEOs.
