Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) is mulling a run for mayor of Houston, Texas, according to reports.
Jackson Lee’s potential mayoral run after speaking to three sources familiar with the congresswoman’s plans. The publication’s Kadia Goba noted that Jackson Lee declined to comment on the matter when reached by phone.
“Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee has never faltered on her commitment to the 18th Congressional district nor to Houstonians,” Daniels told Semafor.
