After adding Bobby Wagner in free agency and Cody Barton in 2023, the Commanders have signed another former Seattle linebacker
It’s been an offseason of overhaul for the Seattle Seahawks, with a new coaching staff and a new defensive scheme, and that has fans excited. In addition, under new special teams coordinator Jay Harbaugh the ‘Hawks have also overhauled their special teams, with several of the top special teams contributors moving on since the end of the 2023 season.
In Washington, Bellore will play for former Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, while teaming up with former Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner. Wagner, of course, signed with the Commanders in part to replace former Seahawks linebacker Cody Barton, who happens to be busy this week preparing to get steamrolled in Week 1 as a member of the Denver Broncos. In any case, the Commanders and Bellore have been flirting for some time, following Bellore working out for the team during training camp.
