Molinaro says his current opponent for congress, Josh Riley, is running an even more dishonest and deceitful campaign than his 2018 matchup against Cuomo.
Andrew Cuomo is the lesser of two evils, freshman House member Marc Molinaro said about his current opponent.
“On any given day, it’s Josh Riley, on any given day,” said Molinaro, when asked to compare his rivals during a meeting with The Post editorial board. “I said this two years ago, I would take no action to support a national ban,” Molinaro said in the same interview.“They’re running ads that say I’ll be the deciding vote on a national ban. I don’t know if they don’t know this, but the House is pretty much split 50-50. I already am the deciding vote and I’ve used it to consistently object to any infringement on New York state’s abortion access,” he continued.Andrew Cuomo carried almost 60% of the vote in 2018 against Molinaro.
“Governor Cuomo ran on his record of getting marriage equality legalized, putting the strongest gun protections and paid family leave laws in the nation on the books and building projects previously declared impossible, such as the new LaGuardia and JFK airports, the Second Avenue subway and the Kosciuszko Bridge, all while cutting taxes and reining in spending and as a result got the most votes of any candidate in the history of New York,” Cuomo spokesperson Rich Azzopardi wrote in a statement...
