“Our experience was traumatic, but of course, it is nothing compared to so many Israelis down in the south just massacred with barbarism that we have not seen,” he told NBC’s Savannah Guthrie Monday. “I had never heard it before. My kids obviously had no idea what was going on,” he said. “So we woke up and sort of scrambled and ran to the stairwell.”
