Mechanicsburg Memorial Day services.
The Mechanicsburg Area Veterans Council held a Memorial Day Parade & Service Monday in the borough. The parade ran from Filbert and Simpson streets and continued to the Mechanicsburg Cemetery. A service followed in front of the GAR monument.
Col. Donald O’Shell, Jr., Director of Staff, Headquarters Pa. National Guard was the guest speaker. A wreath and white carnations were placed at the monument.
