A 19-year-old East Palo Alto man was arrested Thursday in connection with the incident.
REDWOOD CITY — A 19-year-old East Palo Alto man has been arrested on suspicion of firing a gun during a struggle with bystanders following a hit-and-run collision in Redwood City, authorities said.The incident happened just before 4:30 p.m. on July 7 in the 100 block of Orchard Avenue, according to the Redwood City Police Department.The man and several of the bystanders were then involved in a struggle, which ended in a gunshot and the man escaping while brandishing a gun, according to police.
On Thursday, authorities arrested the man at his home. He was booked into Santa Clara County jail on several arrest warrants.
