Meteorological fall begins on Sept. 1, but NOAA's Climate Prediction Center are expecting the first two months of the season to potentially be warmer than average for Alabama. The forecast above also includes the month of August.Is it too soon to be ready for fall? Fall-feeling weather typically arrives in Alabama much later than the official first day.

The Almanac is expecting twice as many cloudy days in October for the nation as a whole.* The Northeast is forecast to cool off quickly this fall, and snow will be possible in New England in November.* Temperatures in the North Central region “may be downright frigid,” with lots of snowflakes and rain.* The Southwest is expected to get “chilly temperatures and showers” throughout fall.

* “Especially unsettled” weather is expected nationwide in November, especially around the Thanksgiving holiday NOAA hasn’t issued its fall outlook yet.
