The women allege Tim Ballard, the founder of the anti-child-trafficking nonprofit Operation Underground Railroad, exploited its mission to sexually assault them.
Ballard has explained previously that when he and other operatives were on undercover missions to save children, they employed awhere he had a woman posing as his wife or girlfriend. But the lawsuit claims that Ballard used the ruse as an excuse to manipulate and coerce them into sexual activities short of penetration.
