Debuting in April, the Apple TV+ Original follows Colin Farrell as private investigator John Sugar as he tries to solve the mystery of a disappearance that's tied to the wealthy Siegel family.
We would love to get a second season, and we’re ready to make one. I’d love to see the evolution of Sugar’s character. There were so many things that we had to hide the ball with. There’s so much more to dig into in terms of the exploration of his character. But there would be other elements from Season 1 that we love that we would obviously continue as well.
Sugar Season 2 Has A Ton Of Potential Stories Farrell's Character Decided To Continue As A Private Eye Close The finale of Sugar season 1 does not end on a complete cliffhanger that demands a follow-up. The investigation is resolved, and the twist of Farrell's character being an alien is revealed by the end of episode 8. The rest of the aliens, largely due to the fact that they have been exposed and are facing pressure from humans, decide to return home.
