Chloe Fineman as a Spirit Halloween employee in a Saturday Night Live sketch
Saturday Night Live gets a taste of its own medicine when Spirit Halloween responds with a harsh parody costume following a sketch at their expense. The hit NBC sketch show returned with its season 50 premiere on September 28, featuring Jean Smart as the host with Jelly Roll as the musical guest.
The costume is for an"Irrelevant 50-year-old TV show," a nod to how the sketch makes fun of the company's legal need to use generic names for costumes of iconic movie figures, and the costume package is said to include:"Dated references,""Unknown cast members," and"Shrinking Ratings."
