“I need to help these single parents because my dad needed help also and he just worked, worked, worked,’’ he said. “I tell people all the time if I didn’t get a football scholarship, I wasn’t going to college,’’ Williams said. “There are a lot of individuals in Birmingham City Schools and high school in general that have the same thing.”
