Neighbors are raising questions about the effect of a proposed development in South Jordan on local wildlife and the protected green space along the Jordan Rive

The proposal, which would involve the construction of over 180 homes on 18 acres of protected land, was recently announced through a public notice regarding a zoning change.One of the concerned residents who lives near the Jordan River Trail, Tamra Carlson, expressed her shock upon receiving a letter from the city about the zoning change.
She explained how she and her husband fell in love with their home, particularly because of the expansive view of the natural greenspace.
