They have so much more than just a scandalous affair.
Queen Camilla supported a cause close to her heart on Tuesday as she unveiled the plaque for the official opening of the Dyson Cancer Centre. The center, in Bath, England, is part of the Royal United Hospital, which serves a population of over 500,000 people. The new state-of-the-art facility includes a research hub, chemotherapy and radiotherapy services, a 22-bed inpatient ward, a specialized pharmacy, and teams for nuclear medicine and physics.
The British monarch shared the news of his diagnosis in February and revealed that he would be undergoing outpatient treatment for the condition. “The king is grateful to his medical team for their swift intervention, which was made possible thanks to his recent hospital procedure. He remains wholly positive about his treatment and looks forward to returning to full public duty as soon as possible,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement at the time.
