Though the updates on Charles's cancer are few and far between, Camilla has shared bits and pieces of how he's been managing his treatment. Speaking with author Lee Child, writer of the Jack Reacher series, in June, Camilla explained that Charles is"doing fine except Lee noted that Charles's resistance to slowing down is par for the course, and replied that he"sounds to me like a typical husband," royal status or not.“Charles is doing a magnificent job fighting his cancer but he is still unwell," the source said.
