The Systems Onco-Immunology Lab in the Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery is seeking a Staff Scientist to apply technical expertise and experience to coordinate, design, and carry out cancer research projects while adhering to the standard operating procedures of the laboratory. Under the direction of Hyun-Sung Lee, M.D., Ph.D.

, the Systems Onco-Immunology Lab utilizes and develops innovative methods within the context of multi-omics technologies to investigate cancer-immune system networks and inform the design of novel approaches to immunotherapy. Our overarching goals are to identify potential therapeutic targets and develop strong prognostic or predictive determinants for the management of solid tumors by applying a “comprehensive and integrated systems immunology” approach.

Assists with manuscript and grant preparation and present results during lab meetings, department and institutional meetings, and scientific conferences.Doctoral Degree. Experience may not be substituted in lieu of degree.Strong immunology or molecular biology background and experience in proteomics.Ph.D. with at least three years of postdoctoral experience in fields related to proteomics.Company
