This week the president of the North American Grappling Association announced that trans women would no longer be allowed to compete against biological women.
Following complaints from biological female competitors having to face trans women in matches, a prominent American Brazilian jiu-jitsu league banned 'male-to-female' gender transitioners from competing against women in all its matches going forward.
' She added, 'I don't think trans-identified males should be banned from competing all together, I just don't believe they should be allowed in the biological females division.'
