Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins appreciated the Pro Bowl experience, even though he's only done it once and will keep politely declining the invites
Because he was suspended for the first six weeks of the NFL season for testing positive for trace amounts of a banned substance, Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins isn’t eligible to be selected to the Pro Bowl Games this season.
“The Pro Bowl, I know it’s all good, man,” Hopkins said, “but I love when young guys get a chance to make the Pro Bowl. When I did make the Pro Bowl, I would also pass on the invitation to go just so the person behind me could go, the alternate.” As for himself and the Cardinals’ five remaining games this season, Hopkins told The Republic he plans to ball out and make the best of things.
