We feel for him
Looking at Prince Harry these days, you'd be forgiven for thinking he has a pretty sweet life. A smart and beautiful wife, Meghan, newborn son Archie, a purpose in fighting climate change, a swish new pad in Windsor... not forgetting basically anything he wants, thanks to being sixth in line to the British throne.
But according to royal biographer Katie Nicholl, Harry wasn't always this content. Before he met and married Meghan, the now Duke of Sussex was"lonely"., Nicholl writes that after Prince William and Kate Middleton, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, moved to Anmer Hall in Norfolk in 2014, Harry didn't have the best time.
"Harry felt detached, lonely, and ‘rudderless’, and according to a friend he dreaded Sunday nights," she writes."He’d say ‘William’s got so boring,’ when in fact William was living the life I think Harry wanted for himself. I think he was worried he was going to be left on the shelf. He told me he hated being alone, especially on Sunday nights.
Of course, things soon began looking up for Prince Harry. In 2016 he met then-actress Meghan Markle, and in May 2018 they were married. Twelve months later, in May this year, baby Archie Mountbatten-Windsor was born. Now, we imagine Harry's Sunday nights involve less sleep and more nappies.
