A woman seen on the campus of Texas Wesleyan University who was said to possibly be armed was in custody after her presence prompted a shelter-in-place order Tuesday afternoon for the campus, authorities said. According to the university, the woman had been seen near the Nenetta Burton Carter Building, which is located on the corner of Binkley Street. and Avenue D. Police said the woman had a partially shaved head and was wearing camouflage pants raised suspicions and became a “person of interest.”Responding officers found the woman and questioned her and “determined that no firearm was involved in the situation,” according to the police statement.Alfred is a proud TCU Horned Frog and Dallas native who has worked as a writer, reporter and digital content creator/manager.
