With Memorial Day in the rearview, suburban park districts are preparing for the pool season. Here is information for pools and aquatic centers operated by park districts in the northern suburbs. Hours are subject to change for adverse weather conditions and holidays.The Proesel Park Family Aquatic Center, at 7055 N Kostner Ave, Lincolnwood, opens June 1. Lincolnwood residents can purchase a season pass for $103, a family of two for $153, and $30 for each additional person.

Regular hours at the Skokie Water Playground are Monday through Fridays from 12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Lap Swim hours are from Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. New pool passes can be bought in person at the Howard Leisure Center, 6676 W. Howard St., Niles. Residents renewing a pool pass can do so by emailing a completed

Centennial Aquatic Center, 100 S. Western Ave., Park Ridge, began its preseason on May 25 and will last until the regular season on June 7. Starting June 7, regular season hours are Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11:15 a.m. to 8 p.m. The regular season ends on Aug. 12 and hours are shortened from Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday hours are from 11:15 a.m. to 8 p.m. The late season ends on Sep. 2.
