JUST IN: Police are investigating a shooting in Avondale that left a suspect dead.
The incident reportedly happened near the area of Dysart and Buckeye Roads. According to officials with the Avondale Police Department, the person who died in the shooting was the suspect.
Meanwhile, officials said one officer was taken to the hospital for what they termed as minor injuries, and is expected to make a full recovery.
