A resident complained about a suspicious vehicle that was parked in the cul-de-sac near their home at 8:39 p.m. Sept. 25.
The responding officer found no such car and surmised that the caller likely saw house lights that looked like headlights.Police were dispatched at 9:02 p.m. Sept. 25 to Westwoods Elementary School on a concern about a suspicious vehicle with headlights turning on and off. Officers spoke to the cleaning crew on the scene, who said everything was fine and that it was likely a teacher who was working late and had just left the building.Police and firefighters responded to a call at 10:44 p.m. Sept. 25 about a utility pole transformer that had caught on fire.A resident complained at 8:15 a.m. Sept. 19 that motorists are speeding between 5:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.
The complainant requested that the speed trailer be set up, and said it was fine for patrol cars to park in their driveway.A contractor threatened to show up in a resident’s driveway Sept. 21 to get money owed to him. The resident called police, and officers helped work out an agreement between the parties.
