Arizona law enforcement declared a protest at ASU an unlawful assembly, marched in, broke it up and took many people into custody. Here is a recap of what happened.

Police from various agencies swept through the lawn in front of Old Main to end a protest that had begun Friday night.TEMPE, Ariz. — Police moved through the lawn in front of ASU's Old Main early Saturday morning, clearing out pro-Palestinian protesters who had begun gathering there Friday morning. No number of arrests was provided. such as Columbia University in New York City and the University of Texas in Austin, Texas.

The sweep began after law enforcement declared the protests an unlawful assembly. Earlier, the university had issued the following statement:
