OFFICER SHOT: A police officer was shot Wednesday afternoon in West Philadelphia, according to authorities.
FOX 29's Steve Keeley reports the shooting happened during a traffic stop near the intersection of 60th and Market streets sometime around 3 p.m.
"The cop got a shot off, the cop was also shot, they believe, in the chest or below the vest," Keeley said. A massive police presence responded to a West Philadelphia intersection where a police officer was shot.No arrests have been reported immediately following shooting.
